Rugby World Cup 2015 Commences in Only Four Days!
The Rugby World Cup 2015 is nearly here, with only four days to go until the event of the year commences. All rugby enthusiasts out there have been waiting patiently for the first game; England v Fiji at Twickenham Stadium, but the wait is nearly over.Although it’s been a long journey, the wait has not been dull to say the least. We’ve been able to enjoy the 100-day Trophy Tour, various local events across the nation, the Festival of Rugby and much more.
Now that the wait is nearly over, what can we expect from the Rugby World Cup 2015 this Friday, 18th September 2015 and onwards?
Firstly, it’s been announced that Tissot has become the official timekeeper of Rugby World Cup 2015. The appointment of a globally-renowned timekeeping and watch giant brings an extra boost to the event. It is also said that the event is on track to beating all previous attendance, viewing and commercial records.
Secondly, the disciplinary team and process has now been confirmed and we will see a highly experienced team for this year’s event. This newly appointed team comprises of eleven citing commissioners, ten judicial officers and our appeal officers.
The first game to kick-start the Rugby World Cup 2015 will be England v Fiji at Twickenham Stadium, followed by Tonga v Georgia, Ireland v Canada, South Africa v Japan and France v Italy on the Saturday and Wales’ first game on the Sunday which will be against Uruguay.
